At YamiCore, we believe that anime is much more than entertainment. It is a source of emotional strength, moral depth, and genuine inspiration. Our goal is to translate these powerful messages into high-quality designs that accompany you every day.
The duo: the creative one and the nerd
With a passionate designer and an anime lover through and through, we, Soori & Patrick, form YamiCore.
Patrick is the anime compass, who tries to reflect the statements of our heroes and anti-heroes with quotes and hidden meanings. “For me, anime is a navigation aid for reality. It is a reflection of our own struggles that we face every day. It conveys so many emotional values. Whether positive or negative emotions, in the end it shows how we can deal with them and grow from them! That's exactly what I want to convey in our products.”
With her double master's degree in Art of Expanded Media and Master of Arts in Animation, Soori not only brings professional expertise to our designs but also cool ideas for our Social Media. "In the soul of Art and Anime lies no limit, but only the call to pour our entire heart into the impossible. Let's take a breath and bravely venture beyond the known."
Our design approach: Because words matter
Not just illustrations. It's a message.
At YamiCore, you'll find a deliberate mix:
1. Original Core Designs: Illustrations developed entirely by us that capture an emotional or philosophical anime idea (e.g., a typographic design that celebrates the concept of “grit” or “second chances”).
2. Tribute & Homage Designs: Designs that honor our favorite heroes and anti-heroes. We go beyond the simple logo by incorporating memorable quotes, battle cries, or words of wisdom into the artwork.
Why words and typography? We all have a story. Whether you're having a difficult day or celebrating a personal victory. When you wear a design that combines an anti-hero with the phrase “Today's pain is tomorrow's strength,” you're wearing armor. You're showing the world what values you identify with and what lessons you're currently learning or have already mastered.
